Dental Inlays can be made of porcelain, gold, or composite resin which makes them strong and very natural looking. An inlay is a filling made in the dental laboratory and it is used inside the cusp tips of the tooth and then bonded to the damaged area.

Traditionally, gold has been the material of choice for inlays. In recent years, however, porcelain inlays have become increasingly popular due to strength and colour, which can match the natural colour of your teeth.

I have probably seen Dr Varnamkhasty 5-6 times over the last 10 years or more since he took over from the last dentist.I have only had cleans.He has always been very friendly and professional.

I have been going to this practice for years and never had any problems. Lovely dentist who I trust completely. He always discusses options before treatment and there is no pressure to have work done. Nurses are also very friendly too.

Recently had my first appointment with Dr Varnamkhasty - he is excellent, easily on par with german or french dentists - this means you don't have to fly back home to get treatment! I have tried a number of british dentists in the past, and it was definitely a mixed bag. Note that he is Swedish, so that statement may hold nevertheless.You get the feeling he knows his tools, has a good bedside manner, and makes you feel at ease. He treats his assistant well, and you feel there is a learning process going on and that they work as a team. He was also very knowledgeable about human anatomy, and gave an in-depth explanation of the chemical and physical processes causing cavity (ph balance), blocking nerve communication during local Anesthesia, or even the chemical composition of teeth themselves. I must admit I never learned so much attending a dentist appointment.Despite having practised for a long time, you never get the feeling that he takes his patients for granted, or will suggest you an off-the-shelf solution. On the contrary: he takes in what you tell him, analyses it, and incorporates it into his suggestions for treatment - this is a rare ability in any field, not just for a dentist.One caveat: the receptionist confused me - i called three times to get an appointment, every time she promised to call back but never did - really had to persist. It was so worth it though.

Myself and at least 4 family members, have been under Mr Varnamkhasty's care for approximately 17 years. We are all very satisfied with all aspects of this dental practice. Additionally, my 17 year old son who has autism, has visited Mr Varnamkhasty every 6 months, and is BRILLIANT with him.

I've been going to this dentist for the past 15 years and I have only ever had good experiences. He offers great advice and tries to make you as comfortable as possible. I never experienced any pain from the few fillings I have had.

I have been going to this dentist for 10 years now and can recommend him highly. I am always impressed by his efforts to make patients comfortable, avoid pain, and to clearly explain what he is doing and why. This Swedish trained dentist is also highly skilled - having recently moved away from Muswell Hill I found another dentist reluctant to do a procedure and trying to push me towards an expensive specialist - Mr Varnamkhasty did the job with no problem at all. I have had contact with 3 assistants over the years and all seem very relaxed in the workplace. Please ignore the other inaccurate google review...you would be in excellent hands with this dentist and I have no agenda for saying so.
